EPSR 2016 count-down has started. On 20th of June in the CRAG (Centre for Agri Genomic Research) of Barcelona will start the 8th European Plant Science Retreat, an international scientific congress organized each year in a different place by a team of local PhD candidate.
Main topics are: developmental biology, genetics, biotic interactions, physiology, ecology & evolution
The congress represents a good opportunity for exchanges between PhD candidates, scientists and companies’ representatives. The idea came in 2007 when PhD candidates from three European research schools in Plant Science (EPS in The Netherlands, IMPRS in Germany, and SDV in France) initiated an international collaboration to improve research, training and education of plant science PhD candidates in Europe. Yearly since 2008 this network organises a congress “by and for” PhD candidates in the different associated institutes, which have highly related and complementary thematic.
Sequentia will participate with our scientific director, Riccardo Aiese Cigliano, who will be among the speakers
