SECURITY MEASURES

BIOINFORMATICS CONSULTANCY SERVICE: DATA PROTECTION and DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT
In compliance with the current legislation on personal data protection, the personal data of each Party included in the Framework Agreement will be processed by the other Party for the management and execution of the Services.
Personal data will be retained for the period provided by current regulations (especially in civil, fiscal, and accounting matters) once the Framework Agreement ends.
Personal data may be communicated to auditing companies for the review of financial and accounting statements, to financial entities for the payment of Services, to advertising and marketing agencies to design and develop effective marketing campaigns, to logistics and transportation companies to ensure timely and secure delivery of our products, and to Public Administration in legally provided cases. Likewise, personal data may be processed by entities outside the European Union, under conditions of security and confidentiality, in accordance with the corresponding legal guarantees, about which each Party can obtain information.
The rights of access, rectification, deletion and opposition, limitation, and portability may be exercised by sending an email to [email protected] to each of the Parties. In the event that a satisfactory response is not obtained and a complaint is desired or more information is needed regarding any of these rights, one may contact the Supervisory Authority.
In relation to the CLIENT’s personal data accessed or processed by SEQUENTIA within the framework of the Agreement, the CLIENT guarantees and commits to SEQUENTIA to fully anonymize such data in advance in accordance with industry practice, so that SEQUENTIA will never have access to data considered to be personal.
In the event that the CLIENT fails to comply with this obligation, or if SEQUENTIA is subject to a claim, demand, fine, sanction, or liable for compensation as a result of the CLIENT’s non-compliance, the CLIENT will assume it in full as soon as SEQUENTIA requests it.
