Drago2 and PRG Disease Resistance Analysis and Gene Orthology (DRAGO 2), is an in silico pipeline to automatically retrieve, annotate and classify plant resistance genes. DRAGO 2 Is the official annotation tool of the PRGdb, the Plant Resistance Genes Database.
The plant resistance gene database is an open source web which has been totally developed in MediaWiki format, and represents the first bioinformatics resource providing a comprehensive overview of resistance genes in plants
Beyond genes lies a universe of genetic regulation: long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). Code 0 is our next-generation discovery engine, designed to decipher and annotate lncRNAs in any genome or transcriptome of interest.
Code 0 was applied to analyze the genomes of about 100 plant species and the identified lncRNAs are then organized and made accessible in GreeNC, our comprehensive database. With these tools, we empower the scientific community to decipher new layers of gene expression control and their impact on biology.
Swordfishomics is a pioneering project that dives into the depths of the swordfish (Xiphias gladius) genome. By sequencing its transcriptome, we have created an unprecedented public resource for the scientific community and conservation agencies.
This open-data portal is fundamental for the sustainable management of swordfish populations in the Mediterranean, providing key genomic insights for stock assessment and species biology.
It was developed under the framework of the “Stock Assessment of Xiphias gladius in the Mediterranean Sea” project, commissioned by Marche Polytechnic University (Italy), in collaboration with Cofrepeche and Oceanis, and the goal of protecting our oceans.
